NegOcc Palaro medalists get P882K in cash awards

Athletes from Negros Occidental who won medals during last month’s Palarong Pambansa in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, received a total of PHP882,000 in cash incentives from the provincial government. The cash incentives show the province’s gratitude to the athletes for their hard work and their determination to win, Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. said, as he congratulated them and their coaches during the awarding of the cash prize at the Negros Occidental Multi-Purpose Activity Center here Thursday.
